Why LabABC
Laboratories are highly specialised, bespoke environments that need highly specialised technical advice and support. Dr Richard Spence’s extensive firsthand laboratory management experience includes serving as senior user representative for the design, construction, commissioning, and certification of New Zealand’s National Biocontainment Laboratory before managing the facility for several years. He is a former president of the Association for Biosafety for Australia and New Zealand (ABSANZ).
